Yang Yang's 1st Birthday Celebration

Yes, today is my 1st birthday, I am no more a baby boy, I am little boy now! Mama wanted to buy a 3D mickey mouse fondant cake for me, but papa not allow. In the end I only got this 2D cake, oh... bad papa...
we ordered golden pillow and some other food... grandpa brought kolomee from kch, grandma make the curry puffs and jelly... yummy...

I think I am a bit cool that day, probably due to I am a little boy now, I dun do stupid laugh like baby... or maybe due to I dun get a 3D cake that day...

Took with papa and mama... and my future toy in mama's tummy...

With er yi and er yi zhang, they gave me angbao to buy sweet... haha... I wish they can faster get me a cousin, so I can have more toy to play with...

with my xiao yi, too bad xiao yi zhang can't make it to my birthday celebration, but I will save some cake for him...

Grandpa is very happy... ya, he really is. I am happy too... not until when I think of the 2D cake...

with my beloved mama, oh... do I look a bit shy? In future I oso want to marry my mama... then I got to have more 3D cake... yeah~

my er yi really adores me... she always come to visit me...

I am going to be xiao yi's little 花童 for her wedding this Christmas... yeah~

So, do I look handsome today? I am wearing the present from da bo and da bo mu...

A bit shocked, the gold necklace grandpa and grandma gave me worth over 1k... compare with papa, they are very generous hor... Dancing puppy from xiao yi... a bit scary when he chased me around... but I like it... hehe...

2 funny happenings...

Happening 1:

Yee keep thinking of getting a new laptop(the old laptop oredi 5 yrs old) recently. When he got his Dec salary + AWS(bonus) yesterday, he called me n said, "yo, tonite we go suntec to buy a new laptop ok?". We went n got a good bargain... plus a travel luggage bag worth $300 as free gift... yeah~

Anyhow, I offered to help him carry the bag... but he said no, not for a preggie to carry such heavy thing, how sweet. Then, I suggested that he can put the laptop in the bag n pull, he said can't fit in. "Fine, how abt u carry the laptop while I pull the bag?" Again, he said no... the bag is new! OMG, sooner or later we're gonna use it too... and the wheels will get dirty wat? IT IS JUST A LUGGAGE!

NVM, I ignored him... let him carried all the way by himself. ALAS, I noticed my 2 colics from a distance, n they saw me too. Bo bien, I had to greet them n introduced to hubby. Oh, they definitely tot tat I am torturing my hubby to make him carry all the things for me. This morning they came to my desk n keep on teasing me... walao er...

I am quite sad ler until I found out that today my Dec salary + AWS is OUT too! Wow, happy... so happy... it's really a merry merry Christmas tis yr! hehe...

Happening 2:

This morning was the 2nd time i got offered a seat due to my prenancy. Although I am only 4 mths preg, my tummy is showing earlier this time, one mth earlier than last pregnancy. I guess, mainly becoz my tummy havn't fully recovered since then... :-(

anyway, when I got in the train, both of the secondary school gals noticed me. Then I over-heard some of their conversations.

gal A: oh, is she preg?
gal B: I'm not sure, do we need to offer her the seat?
gal A: u go ask her lar, very embarassing ler, if we guess wrongly...
gal B: then how?
... then, I can't hear anything as they lower their volume. But within minutes, they made the decision. They both got up and walked aside... offering me the seat without asking me if I am preg and need the seat or not. Haha, they r afraid of offending me, how nice... I sit down n not forgetting to say thank you to them. Just want to let them confirm that I am really a preggie, not just fat... haha...

Not sure if I mentioned here before, there was one incident that happened during the time when I just back to work after my maternity leave, I *WAS* still FAT(yeah~ abt 5kgs extra). Then on the train, one handsome guy offered me his seat when he saw me. So embarassing, n I told him "no, thanks, and I am not pregnant." Oh~ that's really a bad experience, so paiseh ne~

note: I use the word *WAS* still fat, ya, now I am preg again, so not consider fat anymore... yippee...

salute to my boss's wife

This morning, I rushed all the way to office again. MRT was slightly delayed, the 4th times of the mth, hate it, but yet that wont make me step out of my house 10 mins earlier, haha.

Then, on the way, I met my boss, the new manager who just joined us 6 mths ago. He asked when he noticed that I dint carry my "Freeze-to-go" bag.

J: "Oh, u forgot to bring ur another bag today?"

P: "Oh... I decided to stop the afternoon session of expressing BM as I am planning to switch my boy to formula soon... so, now I only left morning and night sessions... hehe..."

J: "How old is ur boy now?"

P: "Turning 10 mths soon... "

When I was expecting that he would be surprising that I have being breastfed my boy for such a *long* period, he said...

J: "My wife breastfeed our boy for.... one two three... " he was counting with fingers. When he count 1 and 2, I was thinking did he mean years? Then when he continued to count until 3 and 4... I thought, hmm... months? Yup, should be months when he counted to 5.

J: "about 5 yrs... ", proudly showing me his 5 fingers...

P: "Wow, I really need to salute to ur wife... amazing... really amazing...", really shocking, no wonder he is always ok for my afternoon EBM session.

P: "But how can she maintained her supply that long? I have been struggling so hard to keep my supply ler... "

J: "hmm... duno, she just keep it going n enjoying... :-) "

P: "Is she working?"

J: "Nope, she is a housewife... " hmm... no wonder she can make it. I know, this can be the only excuse that I give up so soon... Anyway, she is really amazing... housewife is not an easy job too... got to do housework ler... what u think?
